Overview
L1 Gold Fund Limited will provide investors with exposure to an actively managed portfolio, predominantly focused on securities in the gold sector, with opportunistic investments in other precious metals.
The investment strategy seeks to deliver positive, absolute returns over the medium to long term (being a period of more than three years) through a fundamental, research-driven approach using long and short positions.
The investment strategy will be managed by L1 Capital’s Co-Founders and Co-Chief Investment Officers, Rafi Lamm and Mark Landau. L1 Capital currently manages an unlisted wholesale gold strategy applying a similar investment approach, and the listed investment company structure is intended to provide a broader pool of investors with access to this strategy.
